Pre-season opening dates

Halifax Citadel National Historic Site is open and offering full programming on the following pre-season dates:

  • April 21, 27, 30 and May 5, from 9 am to 5 pm

Official opening day

November to May 6:

The Parade Square and accessible washrooms inside the Halifax Citadel remain open, weather permitting. The Visitor Centre and all period rooms and exhibits are closed. More information
