Fort Battleford National Historic Site
Join a Parks Canada Heritage Presenter for a guided tour of Fort Battleford. Your students will learn about the role of the Fort, and the events, misunderstandings, fear and broken promises that led to the Conflict of 1885.

Fort Battleford played a pivotal role in the events of 1885. Our Parks Canada Heritage Presenters will share the stories of 1885 with your students, using multiple perspectives.
This guided tour will be paired with the Many Voices workshop where our knowledgeable staff will explain to your students that any single event can be perceived in many ways depending on the individual’s or group’s lived experiences, culture and history.
