Public program opportunities

Thank you, Edmonton!

After 10 years of helping Canadians discover camping, build outdoor skills and connect with nature, the Learn-to Camp urban program is coming to a close in Edmonton. Through hands-on experience and guided activities, this program helped youth, newcomers to Canada, and urban residents, gain the confidence to explore and enjoy the outdoors independently. We’re grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make Learn-to Camp such a success over the years.

While the Edmonton hub is closing, Learn-to Camp opportunities will continue to run at participating national parks and national historic sites across Canada. Visit the Learn-to Camp website to find programs and resources near you, including how-to videos, camping tips, and planning tools.
