Cavendish Beach
Prince Edward Island National Park
Sought out by visitors for decades for its beautiful sandy beaches, Cavendish has become famous for its connections to author L.M. Montgomery and her stories about Anne Shirley, the spunky, red-headed heroine of 'Anne of Green Gables'. A favourite stop for visitors all summer long.
Located in the heart of PEI National Park, Cavendish not only offers a stunning stretch of white sand but spectacular views framed by rolling dunes and iconic red cliffs. Whether you are here to swim, stroll, or relax to the sound of the waves, this beach is the perfect spot to soak in the island’s natural beauty.
Domestic animals are prohibited on beaches between April 1 and October 15 annually.
